Ahhhh!!! What an EPIC finale to my 2022 wedding season! Lily and Mike’s beautiful, fall wedding day took place at (my fave) 255 Milledge Hardeman-Sams House in the heart of Athens, Georgia. Their day included some of the most beautiful wedding details, a FUN group of people and the sweetest couple! It’s hard to know how to properly sum up this day in just a few words, but for now, let me just say, it was one of those days where not a bad vibe was felt.
You may remember Lily and Mike from their recent engagement session with their sweet pups! These two actually met because Lily was Mike’s vet for Sawyer, their cute golden retriever – you’ll see him show up later.
We started the wedding day with details and getting ready in the 255 Milledge Hardeman-Sams House spacious bridal suite!
Lily’s mama is what every bride wants on their wedding day. She is a JOY BOMB, but also 100% willing to take a back seat and put Lily first the entire day! They had such a great relationship.
Lily, I think everyone can agree, you looked SO STUNNING!! And your dress was uniquely perfect.
Such a sweet gift Lily gave her mom and grandmother! Made by the talented Kylie Ann!
This first look with her dad was the sweetest!
Their first look was so cute! I know Mike was blown away by how beautiful his bride was!
I am OBSESSED with these! The glow with her dress is making my photographer heart light up!
Despite the many (many) times I’ve shot weddings at 255 Milledge, this spot is a new one for me and I LOVE it! (PS – if you’re curious just how many times I’ve shot here, please check out the blog here. It goes on for multiple pages!!)
Is it dramatic to say her bridesmaids’ dresses might be my favorite of all time?! I love the mix-n-match but especially these champagne colors! And we gotta love the bridesMAN coordinating with them!
This group was SO MUCH FUN! Lily and Mike, I’m sure you already know this, but you have such SOLID people surrounding you!! What a great way to spend your first day of marriage.
Their ceremony took place in the beautiful gardens at 255 Milledge.
I had to include this, because if you know me, you know this was a TREAT to find before the ceremony ever started!! I loveee a great cup of coffee! And I loveee a live painter – you did such a great job, Kate!
Their pups did so great!

This gorgeous clear tent looked amazing at 255 Milledge’s spacious reception area! Every single detail was beautiful.
I need to preface that the next photos are not something just any group should attempt. Lily and Mike requested that their entrance be followed by inviting everyone to the dance floor for one big epic song! Most groups wouldn’t be able to pull this off because it’s too early in the night but their guests were READY FOR IT! It was so fun!
