Wowwwww!!! I am so excited to share this beautiful wedding day with you!! Caroline and Jake’s wedding day was filled with sweet moments with family and friends, some of my FAVORITE sunset portraits ever and fun, unique details all day long!!

We started the day at the bridal suite in the Georgia Club in Statham, Georgia, right outside of Athens– I love this bridal suite! It’s huge and has the best natural light (a photographer’s dream!)

Obsessed with all her bridal details! These are so fun.

It was a beautiful day – it had stormed the day before, but was clear skies making it the perfect spring wedding day!

Caroline, you looked SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I’m obsessed with her dress!

I always love sweet moments with the groom and his mama! If you know me, you know I have 3 little boys, so these moments always make me think of them!

I mean… these are EPIC!? Her dress!!

Such sweet, unique gifts for the mamas! If you’ve been looking for a special gift, this is the one! It was childhood photos of the bride or groom with their mama in the purse.

Next we did first look with dad and these are so sweet!!

Bride and groom first looks are by far my favorite moments of the day! The nerves in both of them have been building (especially the grooms!) but the instant they see each other, everything is calm again! It’s the moment they’ve been waiting for and they get to spend it privately with each other instead of in front of an audience! I love it!

Their wedding party was so much fun!

Calling the dawgs is a must when you get married near Athens!

It’s ceremony time!

They are MARRIED!!

Next, we all went off to dig up the bourbon they buried!

This is one of those “in between” moments I snapped quickly as we were walking to set up for family photos – I don’t normally show this on the blog, but I just loved this one! This day wouldn’t have been the same without these women by her side!

We moved into a few just married photos (signature drinks in hand) and I CANNOT get over how beautiful these are!?!? It was bright outside which can be risky, but I was confident with the right angle, these would be magic and I’m SO EXCITED about them!

They had a beautiful cocktail hour out on the veranda at the Georgia Club!

This was such a cute idea for their seating chart!

The reception space at The Georgia Club is one of my favorites and their details looked amazing!

After their dances and the blessing, we snuck outside for sunset photos and WOW!!!! These are AMAZING?!!? I seriously didn’t think it could get better than the portraits we had taken before, but I was wrong!! The glowy light is the photographer DREAM!
