ATHENS, GEORGIA | BOTANICAL GARDENS | ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Winter sessions begin!! We started this engagement session at the Athens, Georgia Botanical Gardens on Milledge Avenue and later headed over to a field to finish!

I got to meet Lacy for coffee at Starbucks a few days before their session just to get to know her! If you’ve ever had to meet a photographer for a shoot, you know the nerves that come with being all dressed up, searching for a person you’ve never met & hoping this next hour isn’t going to be the most painfully awkward thing you’ve ever done?! To avoid as many nerves as possible, coffee beforehand is a good start.

During our first meeting, I got to know this new #MHbride a little better and I’m EVEN MORE excited for May!!

Lacy mentioned ahead of time that “Andrew may not necessarily ENJOY photos, but he’s willing to do whatever if it makes her happy!” I gotta say.. Lacy, he did a great job!! (You guys will see later with the nuzzle.. they crushed it! It’s the pose that you HAVE to trust me with or you’ll feel really silly)
