Item #1: Discuss & create your wedding budget

First things first, it’s time to have those money talks. You’ll need to talk about your wedding budget with whoever is providing the money for the day. If that’s you, great! Simply talk through this part with your fiance. It’s important to discuss how much modern weddings cost in case others aren’t familiar with the ever-increasing costs of weddings!

Item #2: Discuss & create your guest list

Your guest list is needed before you can properly book your venue or caterer (for the guest count estimation). For many people, this item can take awhile to officially narrow down. My recommendation is to start with those you know FOR SURE & go from there.

Item #3: Begin Searching Online for the Big 3 Vendors

 

Typically, brides usually start by booking their venue, photographer and planner. These are three vendors that book up the fastest and will take up the majority of your budget. Once you get these taken care of, you’ll feel a huge weight lifted off your shoulders!

 

Start by searching for the one or two you’re most excited about and go from there. Usually these three types of vendors can recommend other vendors they’ve worked with that they loved!
