THE IDEAL WEDDING SERIES: BRIDE & GROOM DETAILS | WEDDING PLANNING TIPS

The bride and groom details are where the magic begins! For some, choosing gorgeous details is highly important, while others may not understand why it matters? However, for the Ideal Wedding Day, there are some essentials to bring for your bride and groom details!

Why The Details Matter

The details begin the photography portion of your day as well as your album. They get your photographer’s creative juices flowing as well as tell the story of the day! The details are especially important if you plan to order a wedding album – they pair next to other images, completing the design.

What Details are Essential to Bring?

While details will vary for every bride, the main essential bridal details needed for an ideal wedding day are:

  • All 3 rings
  • Full Wedding Invitation Suite (invite, RSVP card, envelopes, details card)
  • Bridal Shoes
  • Veil
  • Dress
  • Bouquet
  • Earrings

The main essential groom details needed for an ideal wedding day are:

  • Tie or Bow Tie
  • Shoes
  • Watch
  • Ring
  • Belt

How Can I Take It Up a Notch?

There are some additional items that can make your details EVEN better! If you’re able to have any or all of these items, the detail portion of your day will become ideal!

  • Monogrammed Ring Boxes
  • Ribbon Matching/Coordinating with wedding colors
  • Loose extra florals from your florist
  • Envelope Wax Seals or Vintage Stamps
  • Additional Jewelry – necklace, bracelet, etc.

Stay Organized

Having these details is the first step to an Ideal Wedding Day, but the next step is having them organized and easy to access! My advice to every MH bride is to keep all the details in a box that’s easy to grab once I arrive. Another great tip is to ask a responsible bridesmaid to be in charge of keeping up with your details and helping the photographer find everything when they arrive.
