If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know 255 Milledge Hardeman-Sams House in Athens, Georgia is one of my favorite wedding venues! It always feel like a “home game” when I get to do a wedding at this location and with their amazing team.
I met Natalie and Chris during their engagement session a few months back at DGD Farms: click here. As you’ll see throughout this wedding day, these two are genuine, laid back and so sweet with each other! A few of my favorite moments from their wedding day were their First Look and their Signature Portrait – keep scrolling to see more!
Natalie and her mom have such a special relationship! I loved getting to photograph these sweet moments.
Now that I’m a boy mom (almost a two time boy mom!), these moments are some of my favorites. I can only imagine how surreal it must feel to be getting your son ready for his wedding day!!
Their first look was so cute! Chris was blown away by how beautiful Natalie looked 🙂
I’m OBSESSED with her veil!
After many visits to 255 Milledge, I was excited to try mixing it up and getting some new locations for portraits! These were some of my FAVORITES! I love seeing just how many options are possible at this venue.
The morning of the wedding, the weather channel said 100% chance of severe thunderstorms during our portrait time and some of the ceremony – but in true Georgia fashion, we got beautiful big clouds instead which is how these garden portraits happened!
This sunroom is always a beautiful location – I loved getting to do PORTRAITS here this time! We’ve never done this before.
Natalie told me they had originally considered a resort elopement, but decided on a small, intimate wedding instead! This meant their wedding party was also made up of family members which made this portion of the day relaxed and easy.
It’s ceremony time!!

I am in LOVE with their reception details! The southern soiree flare matches perfectly with 255 Milledge’s historic Charleston home feel.
Reception time! Natalie not only shared a dance with her groom and her dad, she also had a dance with her mom! And of course, you know I love these sweet Mother and Son dances!!
