5 Things To Do While Waiting on the Ring

 

You’ve been dating your man for awhile & you’re expecting the ring any day now – congrats! While you’re in the waiting phase, there are a few things you could be doing to prepare well (& scratch the planning itch!)

 

To Do #1: Pinterest!

This isn’t exactly new news, but Pinterest has so much wedding day inspiration! By pinning some of your favorite designs and ideas, you’ll start to notice a pattern of things you like. This will help you get planning faster when it’s time!

 

To Do #2: Create a Guest List Draft

Your guest list will need a few drafts before it’s complete, so brainstorming on your first list during this time is a good idea! You can start thinking through a realistic number to expect. Once you begin the planning process, many vendors require a basic guest count before booking!

 

To Do #3: Research local wedding vendors on Instagram

If you haven’t already done this, Instagram is a great way to research vendors in your area! While you aren’t making any official choices yet, it’s good to have an idea of the different people in your circles and what their styles are. You can do this by searching #CityWedding and viewing the photos that come up.

 

To Do #4: Enjoy spending time together!

This one is obvious, but once the ring is on your finger things will be different. Marriage is amazing (to be honest, it’s so much better than dating), BUT the next year or so will be a big adjustment to get used to. Enjoy the way your relationship is now. (After all this is the person you’re spending the rest of your life with!!)
