Camp Mikell | Toccoa Falls, Georgia | Wedding Day

 

Allie and Brett are MARRIED!! This wedding day was so much fun for many reasons – the forecast was 100% chance of rain all day and they weren’t lying this time! While many brides fear rain on their wedding day, it actually ends up being fun when you have a plan. Their ceremony and reception were both inside and they totally trusted me on locations for their portraits!

 

I loved watching how quickly Allie and Brett’s nerves calmed as soon as the saw each other during their first look! They got to spend time together during their day and let loose during their reception that night!

 

We also had the #DreamTeam on site! Allie & Brett booked their photography and videography through me so my team of four pulled this off by holding umbrellas, carrying bouquets and dresses, and getting shots simultaneously to stay on schedule.

 

PS – one of my best friends was a bridesmaid which is also a rainy day game changer because I had an inside person to help me out!

 

Rainy Day Wedding Tip: Your schedule WILL be slower! It’s inevitable because moving from location to location takes more time. If you have an experienced planner and photographer, they know how to prepare for this!
