ATHENS BOTANICAL GARDENS DAY CHAPEL | ATHENS, GEORGIA | WEDDING DAY

Madison and AJ held their Saturday morning wedding at the Athens Georgia Botanical Gardens Day Chapel! Within just a few days, Athens weather has dropped and we got the best fall breeze. You may remember Madison and AJ from their engagement session at the Georgia Museum of Art just a few months back – I knew after meeting them initially that this would be a fun, laid-back and beautiful wedding day!

We started the day at the Botanical Gardens Day Chapel and then made our way into the gardens for their first look!

A common misconception is that the first look will take away from the emotion of the walk-down-the-aisle moment at the ceremony, but I have found it to be the opposite. Typically, couples who do a first look feel more relaxed and less nervous at the ceremony and are able to truly take in the moment and show their emotions! You will see that Madison and AJ are a great example of this! 🙂

This location is actually where they had their first date! I loved this added aspect to their day – so many memories will be cherished in this one little spot.
