We interrupt the normal wedding content to bring you this epic first annual Pink with a Purpose Breast Cancer Fundraiser Event! When Jen from Hadden Estate asked me about participating in this event, I was so excited! Not only do I love this excellent team of vendors who helped make this event happen, but it’s rare that I get to be in the presence of so many strong and inspiring women. A big thank you to the Tyanna Foundation for putting on this event to highlight these amazing women and provide hope for the future!

The night started off with a cocktail hour, compliments of Fizzy Peach, and some booth shopping! Please be sure to check the bottom of this post for participating businesses, vendors and sponsors who made this event a success.

Inside, Hadden Estate’s spacious reception venue is where the fashion show took place. Every table floral arrangement was beautifully designed by Danielle with Oakwood Lace + Co!

We started the event off by hearing from Kathleen Jeffery, the medical director of breast services at St. Mary’s and the Athens area’s first dedicated breast surgeon. She honored the Tyanna’s Foundation as well as Jen Hadden, the owner of Hadden Estate for making the event happen.

Shortly after, we began the fashion show! As each woman walked the runway, David Osborne of Sound Insight shared their written stories about how they beat breast cancer and overcame so many obstacles along the way.
