Did you guess it? It might not be what you think…
…it’s inviting too many people! Here’s why..
This one is obvious, but the more guests you invite the more money you’ll spend on each guest. Couple’s tend to find themselves more stressed about money while planning a wedding with a lot of guests. There’s less freedom in your budget to create the experience you’ve dreamed of when too many guests are invited.
Most couples assume they won’t have a problem guest, however, the more people you invite the higher the risk for this to occur. A problem guest is someone who causes a scene or breaks something in some way. This is usually alcohol induced and almost always is a guest who isn’t very close to the couple. These guests are at the wedding for what they can get out of it not truly because they love you!
Many couples find that a large number of guests makes them constantly concerned with how everyone is doing. The groom especially has a difficult time feeling like himself during moments like the ceremony and the first dance when there is a large amount of guests.
The lower the number of guests, the better the opportunity for real, intimate moments.
