THE CHAPEL | ATHENS, GEORGIA | WEDDING DAY

Wow!! Where do I even start?! I’m certain this will go down as one of the sweetest, most memorable wedding days I’ve been apart of! If you’ve followed along for awhile, you know I’m from a small town in South Georgia (like.. graduated with 40 people kind of small) and Chris and I went to the same high school! We’re several years apart, but our families have been friends and our moms are even in the same small group together! Chris and I both went to the University of Georgia and stayed in Athens which meant my two worlds got to collide for this wedding day!! I loved seeing so many familiar hometown faces showing up to this Athens wedding!

I got to meet Logan during their engagement session in the summer on the University of Georgia’s North Campus. You may remember this session for their perfectly coordinating outfits or epic downtown and rooftop shots! I could tell in an instant these two were going to be so much fun. I could tell instantly that these two had great chemistry and we were going to have a GREAT time together!!

We started off this perfect spring wedding day at Hotel Indigo in downtown Athens, Georgia with details and getting ready!

The moment we stepped onto their hotel floor, we could tell which room they were in because of all the laughter! This was such a fun group!!

Chris, you looked SO BEAUTIFUL!!

Her bridesmaids hadn’t seen her dress yet, but they all tried drawing their predictions so this moment was even more fun!

Such a sweet first look with her dad – you can tell Chris is definitely a daddy’s girl!

Next, we headed over to The Chapel – a newer venue in downtown Athens, Georgia! You may remember a recent styled shoot I photographed there.

Their first look was so sweet!! I love these!

Their wedding party was so fun!! And I LOVE their colors!

I usually save the family photos for their gallery, but they had such sweet relationships with their mamas I felt like they needed to be on the blog!!

It’s ceremony time!!

THEY’RE MARRIED!!!

One of the most impressive sights to witness is a rockstar vendor team flipping a room from a stunning ceremony to an even more beautiful reception in just 45 minutes!!

Their first dance was so sweet! (Photographers.. if you’re wondering how this fast paced dance is so in focus – it’s the R6 eye tracking!! It’s a must!!)

Logan wrote and performed such a sweet song to Chris about their proposal!! I loved this moment!
