255 MILLEDGE | ATHENS, GEORGIA | WEDDING DAY
We started off Sarah & Christian’s spring wedding day at 255 Milledge in Athens, Georgia. At this point, when I photograph weddings 255 Milledge, it feels like coming home! I love this venue and this couple, so I knew it would be a really fun day!
Sarah’s classically elegant style came out in every single detail on their wedding day (with a Southern twist!) My second shooter, Katherine, and I couldn’t get over how AMAZING her dress looked on her!!
Their first look was so sweet!
We headed off to UGA North Campus for their Bride and Groom portraits! UGA is important for both of them, so we spent a lot of time here for photos – and thank goodness it was spring break for the students, so we had the place to ourselves!
Back at 255 Milledge, we got to photograph their wedding party! This was such a fun group!!
We were getting ready to hide the Bride and Groom before the ceremony when Sarah’s dad got a sweet first look with his girl!

It’s a Southern tradition to “bury the bourbon” at your venue and dig it up on the wedding day!
The reception time began with incredible food by Trumps Catering and then singing happy birthday to Sarah’s grandma! Her sweet grandma turned 90 on their wedding day & had her very own birthday cake 🙂
Their dance floor was one of the best I’ve seen thanks to Judah Press Entertainment! (As photographers, it takes several dance floor shots before we get some that we LOVE because of all the movement. Fortunately, there was A LOT of opportunity on this wedding day because people never stopped dancing!)
