5 Reasons You Should Consider a Winter Wedding

If you haven’t yet considered having a winter wedding, you should! Winter weddings take place between December – February. Some couples automatically rule out these months because they assume most people get married during the Spring or Fall, however, there are many benefits to getting married during one of these three months considered the “off season”.

Reason #1: Less Competition for Vendors

Wedding vendors book up well in advance during the spring, summer and fall months. However, winter months are typically easy to snag with less competition from other couples! This means you’re likely to get all your favorite vendors with ease.

Reason #2: Discounted Vendor Fees

Many wedding vendors off a discount for what’s considered the “Off Season”. Since couples all usually fight for the Spring, Summer and Fall months, you can grab a winter wedding date at a lower cost.

Reason #3: Your Photos will Look Unique

Wedding photography is usually really important for couples. Winter weddings will always stand out among the others as having a unique factor about them! Since the majority of weddings take place during warmer parts of the year, the weddings can begin to look similar. If you want wedding photos that are unique to you, a winter wedding might be the way to go!

Reason #4: Typically Cheaper Honeymoon Costs

Similar to wedding vendors, honeymoon resorts typically offer cheaper prices during the winter months. All inclusive resorts and cruises offer discounts in order to fill up their spots since most people take their vacations during the spring or summer months!

Plus the resort will likely be more secluded for the two of you!

Reason #5: Guests Are Usually Available to Attend

As mentioned before, most people plan their vacations during the spring and summer months and typically stay home during the winter months. This means that the majority of the guests you invite will be able to come without having an scheduling conflicts!
