“Uh oh.. our location is closed because it’s MLK?!”

This is how we started off our session when we realized our first location wasn’t going to work. But these photos are making me kinddddd of glad it happened! We ended up on UGA North Campus for Brooke & Mc’s engagement session and it was the BEST day.

UGA was closed because of the holiday, so we had the campus to ourselves! (If you’re an MH Bride.. you’ve heard me say that the “first 20 minutes of your session are always awkward” and HALF of that is because of onlookers watching you learn poses! So this was the BEST case scenario).

I met Brooke originally when she was a bridesmaid for a previous MH Bride… (remember the snowy wedding day?!) We got to meet up again for coffee before her session and I knew instantly these two were going to be a lot of fun!

Brooke is such a trooper and stuck with her adorable blue dress for the first part of the session even though it was 35/40 degrees!! She didn’t even look cold at all!!

These two met through Mc’s brother in Athens at Hi-Lo. When it was time to propose, Mc brought the original group that brought them together and started the night off where they met, ending by proposing at the place where they first said “I love you”. They had previously planned to celebrate her mom’s birthday at Creature Comforts which turned into an engagement celebration as well! She was TOTALLY SURPRISED which is very rare!!
