255 Milledge Hardeman-Sams House | Athens, Georgia | Wedding Day

 

 

I was SO excited about this past weekend’s wedding at one of my very favorite venues, 255 Milledge in Athens, Georgia. Ava and Brent started their wedding day getting ready upstairs at the venue.

 

 

This wedding was a little different in that I actually hadn’t done Ava and Brent’s engagement session. Usually we meet ahead of time, go over the poses & get to know each other. I wasn’t sure how this would affect their portrait time on the wedding day but…. as you’ll see soon – they’re just really good at posing with each other!

 

Ava & I first met (very briefly) at another wedding I photographed back in December (y’all remember that snowy wedding day?!) We got to hang out again before the wedding just to get to know each other better.. I knew we’d be friends when Ava suggested Walker’s in downtown Athens! (mine & Levi’s go-to date night spot)

 

 

I’m obsessed with her shoes!

 

 

God bless Rachel! I’ve worked with her a lot now & she’s always got everyone looking beautiful on time! (which is a REALLY big deal for your photography timeline by the way!!)

 

 

Ava!!! You looked so good, girl!!

 

 

Brent’s got the BEST faces during their first look! A few tears & a lot of grinning from ear to ear!

 

 

It was supposed to rain but it kept getting pushed back every hour & it never messed with us!!! 

 

 

Definitely some of my new favorite wedding party photos! This group made it fun.

Brent made these light fixtures!! They’re so cool!!!

 

(MH brides take note!! They had us for about 1.5 hours during the reception & then ended the night with a Signature portrait!! This is my #1 recommended option for ending your photography coverage & getting the most out of the front end of your day when portraits are happening!!)
