LAKE BLACKSHEAR RESORT | COBB, GEORGIA | ENGAGEMENT SESSION

If you’ve been following along for awhile, you know that I was born and raised on Lake Blackshear in South Georgia! I moved to Athens, GA when came for college at UGA and then stayed (because I loveee this city!) But it’s always a treat for me when I get to return to my hometown to shoot weddings and engagements.

Ironically, I connected with Jade through an Athens friend! Her sister and I met while I was working in college ministry at the University of Georgia Wesley Foundation. And now we’ve come full circle and I get to photograph Jade and Grey’s wedding day in South Georgia this fall! I met these two at the Lake Blackshear Resort for their sunrise engagement session and – oh my gosh – it was so BEAUTIFUL!

It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to photograph at a location with water, and I have missed it! Not only was the location beautiful, but these two did an amazing job during their entire session.

Any #MHbride knows that your engagement session is where you learn and practice the poses so you’ll be comfortable for the wedding day. These two had it down in no time and we were able to capture some glowy sunrise magic!!
