If you’re currently planning your wedding, you need to take notes! Erin and Austin did an excellent job of choosing a trustworthy, experienced vendor team that worked together like a well oiled machine. If you’ve followed Michele Houston Photography for any amount of time, you know I love photographing weddings in my hometown of Athens, Georgia, and more specifically, at 255 Milledge Hardeman-Sams House!

After shooting several weddings here over the years, I was excited to try out some new spots I haven’t photographed before and woooow! Erin & Austin’s sunset portraits are my favorites!

We started the day in the newly updated bridal suite (I was in HEAVEN with these white walls and natural light that’s been added!) I know I’ve found a true MH Bride when she chooses INCREDIBLE details AND she remains relaxed on the wedding day! (When you choose vendors you trust, you can stay stress-free)

These two are a POWER couple and met while in law school. They clicked instantly and felt comfortable around each other! Erin turned Austin into a cat person through her cat, Martin.

During their engagement session, I realized Erin and I must have similar styles because our rings are IDENTICAL! Solitaires are fun because you can dress them up with your wedding band.

I loved seeing the deep relationships Erin and Austin have with their families. Erin did a first look with her dad and step-dad and they were both so sweet! Their families and friends have clearly worked hard to support these two in their brand new marriage.

This was Alex, Erin’s step-dad’s first car ever. He sold it a long time ago and it has since been through multiple owners. For their anniversary one year, Erin’s mom, Nancy, tracked the car down and bought it back for him! Erin and Austin used it as their get away car 🙂

THESE! If you could have seen what this area ACTUALLY looked like, you would be shocked! All it takes it one beautiful tree and a little creativity to make magic 🙂
